Bell Mobility needed a dynamic way to launch their new BlackBerry 7130e fully integrated phone, and to present its core features and benefits to consumers both online and within the trade show environment.
Because of the need to convey complex technical features and benefits we recommended an approach that integrated 3D product animations, interface visualizations and recognizable icons of desirable applications with a compelling narrative story-line matched to the visuals. We developed the presentation for the Bell BlackBerry 7130e so that it could be easily viewed online regardless of connection speed because we knew that the ability to access information on the go is paramount to the Bell Mobility wireless client. We also ensured that the product demo could be projected at a trade show or distributed via CD for maximum versatility and increased project ROI.
Area 50 was completely hands-on with the creation of this product launch presentation. Working from a simple brief, we carefully crafted the visual concept , story boards and script to convey the key benefits of design and functionality that the BlackBerry 7130e device offered. Once the script was complete, we oversaw the product photography and voice over production to ensure the tone and quality was in line with our objectives. We then seamed everything together with some clever custom illustration and Flash animation to deliver a dynamic and engaging product demonstration that would stand out in the market.
The presentation highlights the BlackBerry experience in both compatibility and multimedia functions and has been posted to the Bell Mobility businessonthego.ca web site since December 2006.
